TC Motorsports/Ego Racing to take on the 2007 25 Hours of Thunderhill
TC Motorsports/EGO racing prepare to take on the 2007 25-Hours of
Thunderhill. Campaigning a BMW Pro-3 (325is) in the E1 class, the team
heads into the '07 event with strong confidence. Scoring a 3rd place in
2004 and 2nd in 2005, TC Motorsports will fight hard to reach that top
tier this weekend.
The team and car are owned by EGO Racing with management and team
preparation being handled by TC Motorsports. The team is comprised of
some very experienced and talented personnel. Driving duties will be
handled by Carlo Sparacio, Rick Edwards, Johnny Kanavas, and Ron Gabel.
TC Motorsports Team Principal, Carlo Sparacio is an accomplished racer
and professional driving instructor who will make his third assault on
the "25". 2004 Pacific Nights Endurance Champion, Johnny Kanavas has
driven the "25" since its inception and will make his 5th assault on
the severe endurance race. "I am very excited to be joining
TCM and EGO Racing this year. Sparacio and I have been friends for
years and have always talked about running the "25" together. It's
wonderful that it's finally happening. This is a very well prepared
team which gives me a huge amount of confidence going into this year's
25." comments Johnny Kanavas. Ron Gabel and Rick Edwards are owners of
EGO Racing and the beautifully prepared BMW which has taken many race
wins and championships over its lifetime. The veteran crew will consist
of Jon Ament, Shawn Debnath, Brian Mezger, Mo Shriver, Steve Shriver,
Taryn Sparacio and Jon Zweiger. After skipping the 2006 event, TC
Motorsports the team returns in 2007 ready to fight. "This will be a
good effort for us. We have a strong car and very solid team of crew
and drivers." states Carlo Sparacio.
The 25-Hours of Thunderhill begins on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 11:00 am and ends Sunday, Dec. 3 at 12:00pm. Thunderhill Raceway Park is located in Willows, Ca, just 1 hour North of Sacramento. More info about the "25" can be found at: www.nasa25hour.com.
