Two Factory Five Challenge Series teams, competing in FFR Cobras, will take on the ultimate endurance race, the 25 Hours of Thunderhill on December 6-7, 2008. Team Racing 4A Reason 1 & 2 return this year to back up a successful run in last year's 25, and both teams are honored to be following in the footsteps of legendary Cobra drivers who's noble attempts at the 25 Hours are now the stuff of racing legend.
The two Cobras will be piloted by a talented group of FFR drivers,
including reigning 2008 FFR National Champion Scott McKay, as well as
2008 regional FFR champions and podium regulars John George, Jim
Schenck, Rick Anderson, Brian Sanders, and Karen Salvaggio. Together,
this driving team has amassed more than 100 FFR victories, and includes
engineers and FFR craftsman builders from across the country.
Additionally, the driving team will be joined by the talented 2008
CMC/CMC2 Champions Mike Plum and Peter Hopelain.

Both race teams will be supported by an outstanding group of crewmembers representative of leaders in logistics, safety, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as crew management. The Racing 4A Reason Team is also pleased to again host representatives from the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) students in programs at Cal Sate University Los Angeles. SAE student representatives will join the race team through the "Pit Crew for a Day" program, which provides student engineers opportunities to put theory to practice at race events throughout the year. Each of these hard working and talented team member's skills will be tested to the limit over the 25 hour period.
We encourage all 25 hour enthusiasts to visit our website and follow the action throughout the race.
