Prototype Development Group tackles 25 Hours of Thunderhill endurance race challenge

HT4U3236.jpgWe are proud to announce our entry in the NASA 25 hours of Thunderhill endurance race on Dec. 5-6th, 2008 at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, Ca. The 25 hrs. is the longest road race in America, and we will be racing against 70 of the best amateur & professional  teams in the country. We are a group of dedicated volunteer racers from Stockton, Ca., that enjoy the immense challenge that this event provides. This is our 5th year competing at this event, & our 2nd year with our potent FFR GTM-R prototype racer

After just completing the car before last year's event, we have spent the entire season improving the performance & reliability of car for the 25 hour challenge. The Factory Five Racing based GTM-R has been heavily modified & race prepped to challenge for the ultra competitive ES class victory. We also have a superb group of drivers from around the country. Keith Drake, San Ramon Ca., returns for his second run in the GTM-R. Keith has over 35 years road racing experience, & leads our team in the 25. David Ray, Danville, Ca., owner of "Hooked On Driving", a renowned national driver training & performance driving business, has many years of racing & teaching experience & knows Thunderhill like the back of his hand. Chris Durbin, Pennsylvania, ran last years race in our Mustang team car, & did a great job driving the GTM-R in several NASA endurance races this year. Mikah Barnett, Tennessee, drove for us at Thunderhill in August with a fine 2nd place finish, comes back out to run the 25. Team Owners, Richard & Yvonne Migliori wish to thank the team, Jim Haussler, Ted Harrison, Don Vaught & all others, for all their effort & hard work, & our sponsors, Hawk Brakes, Tel Tac, Serramonte Auto Body, Factory Five Racing, Kennedy Auto Co., Bill Hopper Painting etc.

Our race team also contributes back to the community through our Racing for a Cause fundraising Program. Past recipients include the American Spinal Injury assoc., the Children's Cancer Fund, The US Armed Forces, to name a few. This year we are proudly supporting the Stockton Unified School District Athletic Department. Also the Kids from the S.U.S.D. media dept. will come & document the event for a class project. Come join us Sat. Dec. 6th at 11am for the start of the longest race in America.
