Track Concierge Racing Scores Top 5 Finish at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill

Track Concierge Team, 2009

Dublin, CA -- The 2009 25 Hours of Thunderhill wasn't easy for the Track Concierge Racing team. After overcoming time consuming repairs and contact from an over ambitious driver, the Track Concierge team finished 5th in class (E0) and 18th overall. The grueling 25 Hours of Thunderhill took its toll on the Track Concierge BMW M3 and held the team from victory. The weekend didn't start off as planned as the engine of the BMW M3 was changed to the back-up motor after testing. After the crew pulled an all-nighter, the car was back and ready to go for the final day of practice.

The team started the race strong, scheduling its first pit stop on Lap 1 to take on additional fuel. The driver lineup of Robbie Montinola, Anthony Zwain, Michael Ramies, Frank Cusack, and Charles Ng proved to be one of the strongest on the field. Each driver drove excellent stints and continued to run consistent laps at a solid pace. Unfortunately time ran out and the Track Concierge team couldn't make up the difference in lost time from the repairs. Finishing is half the battle but the team was hungry for a win and gathered important data from this year's race. One new component to this year's racecar was the BFGoodrich g-Force R1 tires. With excellent support from a team of engineers, the Track Concierge drivers were impressed with its grip level and lifespan. One R1 went the entire race distance, with others changed moderately throughout the race. The drivers praised, "This is the only R-compound we want to race on for the rest of our lives."

The Track Concierge Racing Team was proudly supported by a plethora of sponsors and partners that created a winning effort on and off the track. BFGoodrich Tires joined the team to supply their ultra competitive g-Force R1 race tire. MotorMavens.com, the popular automotive enthusiast website, provided live race updates through popular social networks. In addition, Track Concierge was supported by Edge Motorworks, Portola Valley Garage, Line Two Consulting, Skip Barber Racing School, Graphtech Graphics, and Silicon Valley Racing.
